Richard Breazanno Update 

Breazanno, Richard

  With deep expertise in Engineering, Manufacturing and Military, Richard is also a Business Owner for more than two decades, having set up Breco Electronics and Arbco Property Investments. He holds degrees in Electronics and Communications from Dickinson University and RCA Institute, and a Diploma from the Army Electronics School. He is certified for Commercial, Broadcasting, Amateur Radio and licensed by the FCC. He volunteers as a counselor at SCORE and advisor at SBDC. His areas of counseling expertise include Management, Engineering, Design, Patents, and Small Business Start-Ups.

 Ruth Bresnick Final

  Ruth is a financial professional with  extensive experience in large scale utility project business plan development and multi-million dollar budgeting plus solid utility knowledge earned over thirty-three years in a municipal utility organization. Ruth worked for the Orlando Utilities Commission and holds both MBA and BS degrees from UCF. Her areas of counseling expertise are Business Finances, Cash Flow, Forecasting, Business Planning.

  John has been with the Ford Motor Company in sales and marketing positions for 16 years. He was also a Ford Truck Dealer for 33 years in Cleveland, OH and Orlando, FL. He currently runs a dealership for Freightliner Trucks. He has a BA from Central Methodist University. His areas of counseling expertise are Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Franchising, Business Planning.

 Jake Jacobson

  Jake has deep experience directing the planning, engineering/design, construction of large industrial and utility generating facilities. Experience includes feasibility studies and project development, permitting/licensing, financing, planning/estimating/cost control systems, procurement/contracting, construction, start-up and testing. He has a BS in Engineering from University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Denver. He has Six Sigma Black Belt training from Siemens. His areas of counseling expertise include Business Planning, Business Operations, Product Development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Rich Jaeckle final

Jaeckle, Rich

  Rich is a successful entrepreneur who has created, developed and sold a successful business. Starting with a degree in business from SUNY, Buffalo, he went on to a distinguished career of 30 years, first with Computer Task Group as Branch Manager, and later as Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Metro Information Services. Rich was  responsible for  starting the innovative Prison Outreach Program at SCORE Orlando, enhancing SCORE'S commitment to community service by teaching releasing inmates how to become productive members of the community. He is also a past Chair of SCORE Orlando, and continues to mentor clients at SCORE as well as provide business consultancy services. His areas of expertise include Sales, Business Development, Strategy and Business Planning.

Chuck Jensen

Jensen, Charles

  Charles (Chuck) Jensen is a retired corporate senior executive and successful entrepreneur. His career spans more than four decades, starting as an Auditor with Price Waterhouse & Co. and advancing through positions of increasing responsibility at large and medium manufacturing companies. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Viking Range and Jack M. Berry Inc. He led NASDAQ-traded diversified hi-tech company Neomedia Technologies as CFO, COO, President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director over 11 years. He is currently the Managing Partner of The Jensen Group, an Orlando-based consulting company. Chuck is also a visiting faculty in Business Management at University of Virginia and Richmond University. Chuck has a BBA from Western Michigan University, and is a former CPA from the state of Michigan and has an Advanced Management Certificate from Albion College. His areas of counseling expertise are Business Planning, Financial Planning, Funding, M & A, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and all Administration functions.

 Dan Knapp Update

Knapp, Dan

  Dan's areas of counseling expertise include General Management, Program Management, Strategic Management, Logistics management, Finance and Government Contracting. He is retired from the US Navy and the Department of Defense. He holds a BSBA and an MBA in Management.  He is a former member of the National Speakers Association, he is a Distinguished Toastmaster and a former member of Mensa.  He has published articles on program management and contract management. He is the Chapter Vice-Chair for Membership and Training at SCORE Orlando.

  Lois  is Vice Chair of Marketing and Legislative Affairs for SCORE Orlando. Prior, Lois was Vice President of Advertising for CEC Entertainment, Inc. in the Dallas, TX area. During her 30 year tenure with the company, she focused on building the brand Chuck E. Cheese's and its character. An advertising expert, she led the marketing team & its 10 plus agencies. Lois began her career as a middle school teacher & holds a Bachelors degree from Marshall University in WV and a Masters degree from The University of Nebraska. Her areas of counseling expertise include Marketing, Sales, General Management, Operations, People Development, Small Business Advocacy

  Lucy is a Spanish speaking, small business advocate who has mentored central Florida small businesses for over 8 years through SCORE. For the 12 years prior she was Vice President for Latin American Operations for American Express, based in Mexico City. Lucy was named one of the top 20 most influential business women in Mexico by the magazine Expansion, similar to Fortune in the US. Prior to that she was Vice President of Quality and Re-Engineering of the International Division for America Express and  Regional Director for Citicorp in the US.  Lucy holds a business administration degree from UCLA. Her areas of counseling expertise are General Management, People Development, Cost Management, Small Business Advocacy.

  Maria is the Chapter Chair of SCORE Orlando. After beginning her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, she held various leadership positions with Old Mutual Group, U.K., an international long-term savings and investment group, and Skandia Insurance Company Ltd, Sweden. Responsibilities included operations for the Group’s emerging operations in Southern Europe and Latin America. Extensive travel has allowed Maria to experience both the uniqueness of the various cultures as well as the common interests that bind them. She is also fluent in Spanish. Maria is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst. Her areas of counseling expertise include Strategic, Financial and Operational Management.

  With a degree in Marine and Electrical Engineering, Bob has served in the US Navy, in the Federal Government and at Capitol Hill for three decades. As a civilian, Bob has engineering and design experience at Fortune 500 companies like Westinghouse, and Vice-President level roles at Trident Consulting. Bob is a past Chapter Chair and District Director of SCORE Orlando when it was recognized nationally as the Chapter of the Year. He is currently Director of Community Partnerships at the National Entrepreneur Center, a marine consultant,  and an active volunteer with SCORE. His areas of counseling expertise include Marketing, Business Planning , Engineering and Government Contracting.

John Tassie

Tassie, John

  John Tassie is a seasoned marketer and general manager with leadership experience in Fortune 500 and other blue chip companies. John was Marketing Director for the Baby Care business at Johnson & Johnson, providing strategic leadership to one of the most recognized brands in the world. He then worked as Vice President for Citibank NA, heading up marketing, customer service and national product development. He later went on to serve as Executive Vice President of Retail Banking at Bank United and as President, AAA Financial Services Corporation (Automobile Association of America). John has a BA from Dickinson College and an MBA (Cum Laude) from American University. At SCORE, John is Vice-Chair of the Seminars and Workshops Committee. His areas of counseling specialization are Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Retail Customer Management, and Financial Services.

  Phil has more than twenty-five years of experience in the banking and financial industry. He is currently Senior Vice President of the Orange Bank of Florida, and earlier at First Union Corporation and First Florida Bank. In the past he has also successfully founded and run a mortgage lending company as its President. He has a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Louisville, KY. He is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals, and holds NASD Series 7 and 63 and Florida Mortgage Broker License. His counseling areas of expertise include Business Planning, Financial Planning and Funding.
