Alan Birsch

Mr. Birsch is a former Senior Vice President of Genworth Financial Services, the insurance arm of GE Capital.  His 27-year career in the insurance industry included managing operations and marketing functions, acquisitions and divestures, strategic and tactical planning, product development, financial analysis and business process reengineering.  He holds an MBA from University of Michigan.

Saul A. Honigstein

Mr. Honigstein is the former President and CEO of AHI Healthcare Systems, Inc., a national physician practice management company established to manage the interface between healthcare practitioners and managed care organizations.  His 33-year career included management positions in the health care services and financing industries – HMO’s, PPOs and health insurance companies as well as hospitals and medical group practices.  He is a candidate for a PhD in Business from the University of North Carolina whose areas of expertise include general and financial management, health care services management, business planning and budgeting.

Richard Jaeckle

Mr. Jaeckle has proven leadership experience having strategically initiated and implemented growth efforts through the development of more than 20 successful start-up sales offices in major cities (including San Juan, Puerto Rico) for 3 separate IT Services Companies.  Presently he is employed as a management consultant to the Heron Bay Group a training organization for business practices.

Lucy Pulido

Ms. Pulido joined SCORE in 2000 when she retired as Vice President for Latin American operations at American Express; a position that she held for many years involving a number of Latin American countries and responsibility for more than 1,400 employees.  She is bi-lingual and fluent in speaking, writing and reading both Spanish and English.

Linda Shaheen

Ms. Shaheen is retired following 32 years with the Ford Motor Company.  Her last position was as a Dealer Operations Manager within the Customer Service Division of Ford.  Other positions included sales and service representative, customer service manager, advertising manager and parts and services marketing manager.  She holds a BS degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan.  Currently she is a faculty member teaching marketing at the University of Phoenix.  Her areas of expertise include automotive and dealership operations, marketing and sales.

Robert J. Shephard

Mr. Shephard is a Graduate Marine and Electrical Engineer who has worked extensively in Oceanography.  He served as Deputy Director of the National Sea Grant College Program, which is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a division of the Department of Commerce.  In addition he has worked as an Engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corporation, as Vice President for Engineering at Trident Engineering and as President of Washington Technological Associates.  Following his official retirement from NOAA he has worked as an independent consultant.

Neil Webman

Mr. Webman is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Pharmacy and a registered pharmacist.  During his career he developed and managed an independent group of retail pharmacies in the greater Orlando area and upon retirement in 1998 sold his operations to a larger chain of drug stores.  Throughout his career he has been active in professional and civic organizations both nationally and in the Orlando area.  His areas of expertise include retail sales, small business management, finance and pharmacy operations.
